Rapala Super Shadow Rap Glide 11

Rapala Super Shadow Rap Glide 11 – Ready to Fish Glidebait for Pike in Shallow Water

The Rapala Super Shadow Rap Glide 11 comes out of the box ready to fish, with two VMC trebles on swivelling hangers, a spare tail in a second colour and a 5 g screw-in weight. On a steady retrieve it swims in a slow, wide S-curve, and a twitch of the rod tip makes it turn short to one side. Stop winding and it hangs almost level before it sinks slowly, which is often the moment a following pike takes it. Without the weight it runs at around 0.5 to 1 m, which suits polders and shallow drains. Screw the weight into the belly and it slowly sinks to the bottom, so you can fish it at any depth. It works cast as well as trolled. We also had our own colour made, the Rapala x Charlie's Fishing Limited Edition, and you can read how we fish it in our article on the Limited Edition Super Shadow Rap Glide.
