Savage Gear Mutant Rat 30 cm

Savage Gear Mutant Rat 30 cm – Ready to Fish Hybrid Rat Lure for Big Pike

The Savage Gear Mutant Rat 30 cm arrives fully rigged: hard head, mounted soft tail and two sharp trebles on a stainless steel stinger. It stays alive at walking pace, so you can crawl it over weed and along reed beds where the biggest pike sit, and that slow, heavy profile is often what turns a follower into a bite. The 24 cm at 68 g is the easier all-day cast and the better choice on shallow, clear water.

Best used for

• Trophy pike along reed beds, weed beds and lily pads
• Slow, waking retrieves over shallow flats in summer and early autumn
• Big, open water where you need a profile that draws fish from a distance
• Turning followers into bites on the last few metres beside the boat
• Catfish sessions where you want a large, noisy surface profile
